Brooke’s love of jewelry design began as a young girl growing up in San Jose. Her father introduced her to metalsmithing when she was in elementary school and she knew working with a small torch and precious metals would turn into a lifelong passion.
The artist graduated from UC Davis with majors in Graphic Design, Landscape Architecture and Art. Afterwards, she carved out her own graphic design business and continued to make jewelry. After sending her two children off to college, she took classes in glass melting and became obsessed with lampworking. She found that the bright, vivid colors of glass combined with different metals provided the perfect combination to create unique pieces of wearable art.
